Are you looking for international law materials, but can’t find them? Perhaps the Peace Palace Library can provide you with the resources you need!

The Peace Palace Library participates in the WorldShare Interlibrary Loan System (ILL). This service connects you to thousands of libraries all over the world whose entire collections can be viewed at a glance in WorldCat. Together, these libraries have created a shared, global library collection for the benefit of all library users.

This means that the Peace Palace Library is able to make PDF-scans, photocopies or lends books and other materials via online Interlibrary Loan requests to other libraries and institutions.

Please, inform at the service desk of your home university library whether they can submit an Interlibrary Loan request for Peace Palace Library resources on your behalf. Also, please note that some universities may charge students and researchers an extra fee for Interlibrary Loan Requests.

Articles requested via Interlibrary Loan can often be delivered within 1-2 days. Other materials usually arrive within 1-2 weeks. The Peace Palace Library retains the right not to honor Interlibrary Loan requests from outside Europe for printed books. For countries outside of Europe, the Peace Palace Library will be able to send PDF-scans or photocopies upon ILL requests.
