My experience with the Peace Palace Library began when I visited the City of The Hague for the first time when I was a legal intern at the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) in 2013. Since then, and as I'm doing a PHD research in the field of international criminal law, I've been enjoying consulting the database collection of the Peace Palace Library which is the most complete collection of international law books I've ever come across.
The disponibility of the books and journal collection in both English and French, make the research task easy, specially with the help of the selected collection. I sincerely advise all researchers to come and visit the Peace Palace Library, the collection is more than complete and updated and the book reservation system is very flexible.
Finally, I could not forget to mention the approachability of the librarians and the library staff in general who are very helpful. Besides the beautiful architecture of the Peace Palace and relaxing view of the garden make the research in the Peace Palace Library an exceptional experience.
