Research guides
The Peace Palace Library Research Guides are prepared and maintained by our team of Law Librarians. The Research Guides introduce the researcher to the main topics of international law, both public and private. Besides providing a brief introduction, the guides also suggest certain books, articles, databases and other materials considered indispensable. All these materials are available in the Peace Palace Library. Taken together, the topics of the Research Guides also reflect our Collection Profile.
The Research Guides are designed for students, scholars and others interested in international public and private law, municipal and comparative law, international relations, diplomacy, war and peace. The guides are a flexible tool embedded in a network of thematic guides, to keep researchers up to date with the latest developments in their research field. A short description of the subject is followed by links to the Peace Palace Library Catalogue, online resources, websites and other resources.
