INTRODUCTION

Each year, the Peace Palace Library compiles a bibliographical overview of recent editions of Hugo Grotius’ works and scholarly publications about his life and legacy. These overviews serve as a valuable resource for researchers exploring the contributions of Grotius, the father of international law. Earlier bibliographies have been published in Grotiana, a journal published under the auspices of the Grotiana Foundation, and are also available in PDF format through the official website of the Grotiana Foundation.

This bibliography has been compiled by Rens Steenhard, Peace Palace Library, The Hague.
